Dan McCoach leads the Life and Health practice across the Americas for Celent. Dan’s experience as an Insurance CIO and executive for a private equity firm active in the acquisition of insurance platforms allows him to focus on IT efficiency, strategic sourcing, cloud technologies and digital transformation, analytics and InsureTech.
Dan joins Celent having been CIO at Nassau Financial Group where he was responsible for Nassau’s IT platform across all M&A activity and consolidation for several acquisitions. He created new capabilities by reimagining technology and operating strategies through a balanced approach to leveraging existing assets while integrating new cloud and InsureTech offerings.
He previously served PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Director in Global Insurance Advisory, where he helped clients define and achieve technology and actuarial platform transformations, while leading PwC’s insurance operations and analytics practice. Prior to PwC, he served as Vice President of Operations at Towers Watson Reinsurance Brokerage, where he managed brokerage accounting, analytics and key IT initiatives.
He holds a B.B.A in Computer Sciences from Temple University, Philadelphia.
