Overview

After years of experience building customized solutions for MGAs, Insly now empowers its users with a true full cycle solution.

The platform, designed for the MGA model from the ground up covers the majority of MGA business activities from product launching and quoting to MI reports and claims handling, which is achieved by having a modular set of tools that talk to each other.

Products can be deployed and changed rapidly using the product builder suite, which makes use of low-code technology that is becoming an industry standard, providing an increasing level of user configurability.

The distribution and underwriting functions allow an automated STP style process, a manual undewriter-driven process or a combination of both. A large variety of underwriting aids can be integrated, with precedents that go beyond postcode lookups and sanctions checks.

The finance functions cover client/broker billing, easy reporting to capacity providers via API or BDX and an MGA specific accounts ledger for instant revenue recognition, better insight into business performance, and a complete audit trail.

Insly’s Claims Management module is currently in development and will provide full claims processing functionality from FNOL to payments and financial ledger integration, it’s scheduled for launch in May 2022.

Insly platform is product agnostic, but 80% of users write Commercial / Specialty lines.

The platform works in various distribution models, the most common cases being broker distribution, embedded insurance and B2C for non-standard personal lines.

Our story

Insly was founded in 2014, initially as a spin off of a successful insurance brokerage in the CEE region. After a good uptake from both Brokers and MGAs, it quickly separated from the Broker group and became a fully independent software provider. A deep understanding of intermediated insurance distribution remains part of the Insly DNA until this day.

From 2019 to 2020 Insly was in research and development mode, fully focused on building a new MGA platform. The aim was to have the flexibility to cover a variety of business cases and take advantage of the latest advances in technology, future proofing its partners and raising them above the competition.
