For a third consecutive year, Inc. Magazine will feature Black Mountain Systems, a leading front office technology developer for investment managers, on its Inc. 5000 List of fastest-growing privately held companies.

The 2013 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The median company on the list increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, while the average honoree grew an impressive 468 percent. Black Mountain has grown 552 percent over the past three years.

“We are extremely honored to be recognized by Inc. again this year and to follow in the steps of powerhouses like Intuit, Zappos, Microsoft, and Pandora. It has been an incredible year of growth for us at Black Mountain: we’ve continued to dynamically evolve our product and expand into new verticals. We now work with 44 clients from across the globe, 12 of which signed up in 2013. I credit our success to the dedication of our talented team and their commitment to understanding the needs of our customers.  These key assets have helped us cultivate the strong reputation we now enjoy in the financial services industry,” said Andy Horwitz, co-CEO of Black Mountain.

“Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is,” says Inc. magazine Editor Jane Berentson.

Black Mountain Systems will appear in the September issue of Inc., available on newsstands and on
