I was recently invited to deliver an online webinar on the impact of the Internet of Things on payments. The webinar was part of the BrightTALK summit on Data and Analytics in Financial Services, and I am grateful to BrightTALK for the opportunity to participate. If you couldn’t join ‘live’, the recording of the webinar is available online; it lasts approximately 45 minutes. Much of the content was based on a report I published last year, so Celent research clients will already be familiar with it, but for anyone else this would be a good exposure to our research and thinking.

The webinar was free to attend, but I expected that majority of the audience would be financial services professionals. I was interested in canvassing their views on the subject as well, and prepared two questions which I posed as a live audience poll during the webinar.
