Every industry has its key event, where everyone involved comes together to discuss the important issues of the day and drive business. For transaction banking and payments, that event is Sibos.
Celebrating its 40th year, Sibos returned to Sydney, Australia drawing over 7,500 people from over 150 countries who met with with over 200 exhibitors and heard from more than 450 speakers.
With so much going on, anyone could be forgiven for failing to abosrb all the nuances presented throughout the event. To combat this variation of FOHMO (Fear of Having Missed Out), SWIFT commissioned Celent to be your eyes and ears in three key areas--payments, cybersecurity, and financial crime compliance.
We have written three reports that not only sum up what happened on stage, but also capture what was happening in the many meetings that took place over the course of the event.
Each report sums up key takeaways while simultaneously providing context by tying them to the bigger picture. We have also injected a healthy dose of our trademark analysis, although we should note these opinions reflect our views, not SWIFT's.
