Abstract

As insurers’ interest in telematics and usage-based insurance (UBI) continues to grow, a cross-road is rapidly approaching. Will insurers target only certain kinds of drivers: e.g. teenagers, drivers with clean records, etc.? Or, over time, will they price and underwrite their entire auto book using telematics data?
