At the end of each year, Celent surveys CIOs in North American Property/Casualty insurers asking them about their priorities and plans for the coming year.

This webinar presents the findings of the survey for 2021. When the CIOs completed the survey in late 2020, it was an interesting time to document insurers’ IT plans -- US COVID-19 cases were rapidly climbing towards their January 2021 peak, from a low point in September 2020.

If it was not exactly business as usual, the CIOs nonetheless reported reasonably positive outlooks for their budgets, investment priorities, and use of the cloud. As in prior years, innovation continued to be a priority. Taking cybersecurity measures also figured prominently. For added depth, the webinar presents findings separately for small, midsize, and large insurers.
