Untangler® is an intelligent data transformation service for inconsistent and unpredictable tabular data in spreadsheets and PDFs. Supply it with arbitrary input data and it will locate and extract records that are a best match to your pre-defined requirements.

A typical application would be where an organisation receives spreadsheet data from a number of other entities, in a variety of formats, which then have to be processed into a common internal format. A good example is an insurance company processing quotations. Currently the insurance company would be manually handling the input spreadsheets, locating the required data, converting/mapping fields such as dates (with possible errors) and then saving them to a standard internal format for further processing, typically for use in an existing internal system.

Untangler® is designed to automate this process saving hours of laborious and expensive human time. We work with you to define the nature of the data that you need and, after training Untangler, we set up your user accounts and output templates.

Your users then log on, upload the files that need converting and download the results.

An API is available if you'd prefer to integrate the service into your own systems.
