According to Law Decree Nº 61.687/1967, all companies that buy or sell goods and/or products, and which are responsible for delivery or withdrawal of the same, are obliged to hire a Marine Inland Transportation Insurance.

Unlike Carrier's Insurance, this insurance allows the insured/owner of the products to declare all the shipments, once a month, always in the month that follows that of the shipments made.

This monthly declaration is normally made by the clients, through an Excell spreadsheet with fields predetermined by the insurer and according to the size of the client, the existence of branches or not, and the complexity of the business, the insured needs a long time to prepare the report to be sent to the insurer.

On the other hand, the insured being the one who prepares the information to the insurer, it is possible for the insured to choose the shipment to be declared, generating the evasion of premiums for the insurers.

The E-Rob – Transporte Nacional application was developed to facilitate and render this process automatic, the customer being able to parameterize the system according to their logistical operation and needs.
