We have comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans to address a variety of contingencies that could disrupt business, including potential pandemics like the current one. These include policies on working from home and remote VPN access to minimize impact on client deliverables. Since 16th March 2020, both New York and Bangalore office personnel have been working remotely. The transition to remote working has been seamless across all client engagements without a single adverse impact on existing deployments / services. Most work gets done on client servers which are accessed through client authentications (VPNs). In case client data is being sent to our AWS servers for analysis, access to such data is governed by stringent data security and access policies. Below are certain guidelines being followed: Scienaptic users can only connect to client RDP Server over VPN using 2FA and Login ID/Password for RDP A session to the Dedicated File and Analytics Server can only be made from the RDP Server by the authorized users Scienaptic users to access client data only over this session via remote desktop server User access to be restricted for sensitive/PII data through comprehensive data access policies No access for data copy from remote desktop to local machines No access to configure remote printers or remote drives All communications tools like email/instant messaging to be inaccessible within the remote desktop No internet access for Scienaptic users in remote desktop
