SR Labs, a global leader in enterprise grade market data and trading technology, has announced the hiring of David Carson as SVP Sales Engineering, EMEA. David joins SR Labs with 10+ years of experience within the financial technology industry having previously worked in software development, presales, client support and management roles.  David has previously worked extensively with investment banks, hedge funds and exchanges across geographically diverse locations.

“David’s experience over the past decade is unique having worked initially in the vendor industry, and then also as a customer of our products”

Prior to SR Labs, David worked at Citi where he held the position of EMEA Head of Market Access, managing a team of developers building a next-generation order entry platform.  Before this, he also held positions at JP Morgan and Barclays Capital working on the build out and support of Electronic Execution and Market Data platforms. David also previously served with Wombat Financial Software as a Senior Presales Engineer between 2004-2009.

Ian McIntyre, COO Europe at SR Labs commented “David’s experience over the past decade is unique having worked initially in the vendor industry, and then also as a customer of our products, covering market data, application development and order routing technology. We are delighted to welcome David as part of our Management Team in Europe, and look forward to his contributions in helping us continue to grow into 2015 and beyond”.
