Multifonds, a leader in single-platform, multi-jurisdictional investment fund software, is proud to announce that its achievements have been recognised by prestigious awards programmes in both the US and Europe: the Custody Risk European Awards and Global Custodian Awards for Excellence.

At the end of 2013, Multifonds was named Best Provider for Fund Administrators at the Global Custodian Awards for Excellence: Technology, Consulting and Law. Hot on the heels of this award came a second accolade, with the company also recognised as Post Trade Technology Vendor of the Year at the Custody Risk European Awards 2013.

Oded Weiss, Multifonds CEO, said: "2013 was another very successful year for Multifonds. This double award win is a recognition of the considerable investment we have made into extending the Multifonds platform to make it as agile as possible to meet our customers' changing demands. The ongoing regulatory environment is putting unprecedented pressure on our customers across the globe, who now need to make their business more efficient and scalable across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes, something Multifonds makes possible through the use of a single, scalable platform.

"2013 saw us extend our international footprint, opening offices in Canada and China to offer an even more local service to our growing global customer base of custodians, third-party administrators, insurance companies and asset managers. Despite this geographical diversity, our customers all have a common need to process traditional and alternative funds from one platform. By extending our platform to fully support alternatives, including all major asset classes, partnership accounting, performance fees, equalization and series of shares accounting, we've positioned Multifonds as the single platform to help our customers achieve this."

The Multifonds platform today handles global assets exceeding $3.5trillion across more than 30 fund jurisdictions, providing portfolio accounting, fund accounting, investor servicing and transfer agency support to clients.
