Andrew Schwartz
Biography
Andrew is a Senior Analyst on Celent's North American Property & Casualty team. He presently leads the team's InsurTech and claims coverage. He is particularly interested in helping insurers achieve synergies through the application of data. Andrew is based out of Celent’s New York office.
Since joining Celent in 2019, Andrew has authored multiple reports spanning the Insurance, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management domains. His past insurance research has focused on a variety of topics, including touchless claims, core claims systems, InsurTechs, geospatial and aerial imagery, fraud detection solutions, and the application of behavioral economics in insurance.
Andrew's thought leadership, established public presence, and contributions to the insurance industry are well-recognized by his peers. He was recently named to the RISE 35 Under 35 Class of 2022, which is awarded to the top thirty-five insurance professionals under the age of thirty-five.
Andrew is a seasoned public speaker, having been the Keynote speaker at America's Claims Executive Leadership Forum and the Commercial Lines Innovation USA Conference. He has moderated panels at InsurTech Connect for the last two years, as well as many client events/ webinars.
Andrew’s research has been featured in multiple publications, including The Financial Times, Business Insider, CNBC, PropertyCasualty360.com, AMBest, Investment News and WealthManagement.com.
Andrew comes from a finance and investing background. Before joining Celent, Andrew was a research associate at Elm Ridge Capital, a hedge fund. He also worked on the Multi Asset Strategies and Solutions team at Voya Investment Management.
