Gwenn Bézard is a
senior analyst within Celent Communications' retail banking group in the
firm's New York office. Mr.
Bézard's areas of research and consulting are focused on retail
banking, with a particular emphasis on the evolution of payment systems.
Mr. Bézard is a
frequent speaker on the future of payments and banking. He has spoken at
major conferences in Asia, North America, and Europe including BAI
Retail Delivery Show, BITS Payments Council, NACHA Payments Conference,
ABA Banking Conference, APEC/World Bank Conference, Lafferty Global
Payment Council, as well as numerous others.
He has been widely
quoted in the mainstream press including Wall Street Journal Europe, Bloomberg Television and Radio, The New York
Times, Investor's Business Daily, USA Today and Forbes as well as the banking trades including American

Before joining Celent,
Mr. Bézard was the Chief Net Economist at BNP Paribas, the largest French bank, where he lead the research
team of L'Atelier, the bank's technology and Internet intelligence
division.
Previously, Mr. Bézard
was an analyst at Plénitudes,
a management consulting firm specializing in change management and
innovation incubation for leading French companies.
Mr.
Bézard holds an MA (maîtrise) degree in contemporary history from the University
of Rennes II, France. He lives in New York, NY, and is fluent in
English and French. |
