Nicolas Michellod is a senior analyst in Celent’s insurance practice. His research focuses on Continental European insurance IT and business issues, with an additional focus on the emerging markets of Eastern Europe.

Prior to joining Celent, Mr. Michellod was chief executive officer of UNIQA Assurances SA in Geneva - Switzerland, where he was responsible for company strategy and designed a new risk management system. He also held positions as a business development manager in Vienna - Austria and as a marketing and quality management system director. Prior to that, he worked at CREDIT SUISSE as a customer relationship manager.

Mr. Michellod has an MBA from Heriot Watt University - Edinburgh Business School in Scotland and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. He is fluent in French, English, and German.
