Ariana-Michele Moore
is a senior analyst in Celent's banking group and is
based in the firm’s San Francisco office. Ms. Moore’s expertise
centers on the payment card industry and includes topics such as payment
fraud, risk management and compliance, identity theft and verification,
payroll cards, proximity payments, and smart cards.
Ms. Moore has been
widely quoted in the mainstream press, including The
Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, and Investor's
Business Daily. Her commentary and articles have also appeared in many trade
publications, including American
Banker, Bank Technology News, Bank Systems & Technology, and Card
Technology. She has also appeared
on television and radio programs, including CNBC’s Wake-up Call.
A frequent public speaker, Ms. Moore has participated in a variety of
financial industry trade shows, such as the NACHA Payments 2004
Conference, Thomson’s Card Forum & Expo, and the SIA Internet
Update Conference.
Before joining
Celent, Ms. Moore worked in the investment banking department of Tucker
Anthony Cleary Gull (TACG),
where she focused on technology for the financial services industry,
including online banking. Before her time at TACG, Ms. Moore was an
analyst for the technology investment banking group at Advest
Inc.
Ms. Moore received
her BA in economics and mathematics from Smith
College.
