Alenka
Grealish is managing director of Celent's banking group and is based in the
firm’s San Francisco office. Ms. Grealish has advised many of the top
financial institutions in the world on their business and technology
strategies. Her research covers a variety of topics, including retail
and small business Internet banking solutions and adoption strategies,
customer analytics, automation of the financial supply chain, and
business-to-business payments. Her recent consulting work has involved
the evaluation of growth opportunities in Internet banking and an
examination of IT infrastructure trends in banking.
Ms.
Grealish has been widely quoted in the media including Bloomberg
Radio, Financial Times, and
the Associated Press. She has given presentations
at several national conferences including Bank Administration Institute
events, the NACHA Payments Conference, and the Association of Financial
Professionals events.
Prior
to joining Celent, Ms. Grealish worked for The Boston Consulting
Group, where she helped to build and manage the US research and
analysis group of the firm’s financial services practice area.
Previously, she worked for the Federal Reserve Bank as an
associate economist.
Ms.
Grealish received her BA from Northwestern University and her MBA
from the University of Chicago. She also studied at the Fondation
Nationale des Sciences Politiques in Paris, and speaks French and
English fluently.
