Louise Westerlind is an
analyst in Celent's securities and investments group. Ms. Westerlind's
research focuses on market data, prime brokerage services, and retail fund
administration.
Before joining Celent,
Ms. Westerlind was an associate in the equity research group at Morgan
Stanley. In this role, she monitored corporate events in the energy,
healthcare, materials, and utilities sectors and consulted on proposed
changes in the healthcare sector for the Global Industry Classification
Standard (GICS).
Prior to Morgan Stanley,
Ms. Westerlind was an asset management industry analyst at Strategic
Insight Mutual Fund Research & Consulting.
At Strategic Insight, she researched global investment industry
trends, including the areas of product development, marketing, strategy,
customer retention, investment behavior, and distribution.
She has also held positions at Citigroup/Smith Barney and Watson
Wyatt.
Ms. Westerlind earned a
bachelor of science in International Business from Copenhagen Business
School. She is fluent in
English and Swedish, and proficient in Danish, French, and German.
