Edward Woods is a senior analyst in
Celent's Banking group and is based in the firm's San Francisco office.
His research will focus on remote channels including retail Internet
banking (personal financial management, electronic bill payment and
presentment, online lending, and payment warehousing) and the ATM. In
addition, he will cover enterprise payment systems.
Mr. Woods joins Celent from Corillian,
where he held various senior roles including principal consultant and vice
president of product management. While there he conceptualized, designed,
and managed the company's flagship product suite, Corillian Consumer
Banking. In addition, he provided consulting services to top-tier
financial institutions on the effective use of emerging technologies in
the online channel.
Previously Mr. Woods was director of
international business development at Prudential International
Investments, where he analyzed and developed new international market
opportunities for the company's product portfolio. He was also senior
research analyst at Prudential Financial reporting on distribution
performance and senior business analyst at PennCorp Financial Group
where he focused on IT deployment strategy
Mr. Woods holds a degree in business
administration from Texas A&M University.
