the Vendors of Wealth Management Technology, 2007: Platforms
Report Published by Celent
As the vendor market witnesses both
consolidation and entrants, Celent evaluates 10 leading platform
solutions.
In a new report, Ranking the Vendors of
Wealth Management Technology 2007: Platforms, Celent examines 10
leading wealth management platforms solutions in the North American
market. The following vendors are included: AdviceAmerica, DST
International, Fidelity National Information Services,
Finaplex, InvestEdge, NorthStar, Reuters, SunGard,
Thomson Financial, and Xeye.
“The sales pipeline for a wealth
management platform in North America continues to grow. Financial
institutions have budgets and are actively pursuing an integrated approach
to wealth management,” says Isabella
Fonseca, analyst in Celent’s Banking group and author of the report.
“There is pressure from clients to get projects running in short
timeframes, so a modular approach to implementation is crucial. Vendors
have had to focus on key modules such as financial planning, portfolio
construction, reporting, trading, and compliance to meet clients’
requirements,” she adds.
The report provides an overview of the
wealth management vendor landscape in North America and includes an
evaluation of each solution’s features and functionalities, strengths
and weaknesses, number of clients, financial viability, deployment
options, pricing structures, and maintenance and support schemes. The
vendors are also ranked using Celent’s ABCD methodology.
The 74-page report contains 15 figures and
29 tables. A table of contents is
available online.
